Change A Life
Tylor James
Hello, my name is Tylor James. I want to share my journey to sobriety and remind you that recovery is possible.
My Story…
Rock Bottom
From ages 13 to 21, I was trapped in a cycle of drug and alcohol abuse. I spent much of that time in and out of jail, and when I wasn’t locked up, I was using substances to escape reality. I hit rock bottom, facing the prospect of prison, but thankfully, God had other plans for me. I truly believe that if you’re struggling with addiction, He has greater plans for you, too.

Choosing Recovery
At 21, I was introduced to recovery. I realized I had a choice: continue down my destructive path or embrace a new way of living. I chose recovery, and today, at 33 years old, I celebrate seven years of sobriety. There were challenges along the way, including a relapse, but I’m grateful for the lessons I learned and the support I received from the incredible people at Isaiah House, who never gave up on me.
If you’re seeking change, know that a brighter future is possible.
