Joe Gibby

Staff – Substance Abuse Educator

Joe Gibby attended Penfield Christian Homes and then Isaiah House, graduating in 2014 after remaining 23 months. Joe has been serving those with substance and alcohol use disorder ever since. He has been employed by the Appalachian Judicial Treatment Court as a recovery classroom facilitator and also operates a small painting business. Joe is married to a wonderful woman the Lord put in his life and is proud of his two children who walk with the Lord. Joe is also blessed with three grandchildren and six step-grandchildren. Joe believes recovery must be worked on a daily basis spiritually, physically, and emotionally.

Along with the 12-Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous, Joe is trained in Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT), Seeking Safety Treatment for PTSD and Substance Abuse, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Helping Men Recovery, A Program for Treating Addiction.
