Chris Hane
Program Coordinator
My name is Chris Hanes, and I am 42 years old. Though I moved around quite a bit during my early years, my family eventually settled in Palm Harbor, Florida, where I spent most of my youth along the coast. In 2002, I relocated to Rome, Georgia, and I currently reside in Ellijay, Georgia.
I’m an active member of Covenant Community Church and deeply value the time I spend with my church family. I also enjoy being with close friends and loved ones, cheering on the Braves, bowling, kayaking, fishing, and enjoying great food and conversation.
Living a sober life has been a profound and transformative journey. While I had some success in past treatment programs, I struggled to fully apply what I had learned—largely because I hadn’t made a true, lasting change within myself. Everything shifted on November 2, 2023, when I surrendered my life to the Lord. That decision has completely transformed the way I think, act, and live.
Today, my life is centered on service—helping others find hope and healing. I am deeply grateful to be a living testament to the power of faith, perseverance, and the possibility of real change for anyone struggling with addiction.
