Non-Profit Transitional housing for men with life controlling issues associated with drug and alcohol addictions.

Our Mission
Choosing Recovery

Finding Hope

Mission Statement

Isaiah House, a 501-c-3 non-profit organization seeks to assist men with life-controlling issues, such as drugs and alcohol, as well as other related problems by providing a healthy, balanced, and structured environment for the whole man. We address spiritual, physical, emotional, financial and legal issues, as well as learning how to serve others.

Goals:

Our goal is to provide a safe place where the tools for recovery, transformation, healing and wholeness can take place. We provide our residents with the tools to break destructive patterns and habits, begin making right choices, set goals, restore broken relationships and begin living a disciplined abundant life with hope for a future.

Objectives:

Provide the time and tools to prevent relapse, increase job skills and financial responsibility, develop better family and social skills, obtain GED, and discover faith, hope and love in their lives. There are many individuals, groups and organizations in Gilmer County working together towards an eradication of drug sales and usage in North Georgia. Isaiah House is a compliment and asset to the community effort already taking place. It is our desire that Isaiah House be above rapport. We endeavor to maintain the respect and support of the local business and government community as well as the religious community. We continue to build relationships through our community efforts, working with volunteers, and growing in understanding of the needs of Gilmer County and the North Georgia area. When a member of a family is sick with addiction, the whole family becomes sick. When the substance abuser becomes well and whole, the rest of the family can also become well, and it spreads. One never knows when the substance abuser has decided he has had enough and is willing to change. We will serve and give opportunity to that man and offer him the resources available at his time of resolve.

We believe there is hope. Welcome to ‘Isaiah House’.
