Dear Ed and Sally and the guys,
I can’t express in words how thankful to God I am for you two. Nor can I thank you both enough for your kindness toward me and everything you have done for me since October 22, 2010. You both have been a blessing to me. I thank God and you, Ed, and Sally, for this house and the program you have here. I am more than proud to call you both my friends. I sincerely pray to God for your continued success in running this house and for your fine example of how two people should live their lives as individuals and as a couple, a happy couple.
I hope to come back in September for my one year CA keychain chip. I hope to come back at least once a month.
Ed, I’m gonna miss your laugh and your humor, but most of all I will miss YOU. Sally, I’m gonna miss your kind eyes and beautiful smile.
I have numbers I can call. I have a printout of all the meetings in Chattanooga and I have a personal relationship with God and His Son. I have tools and I will use them. God first, Meetings second, Phone calls third, or whenever necessary.
I am so going to miss you Ed and Sally and all the guys in here. I agree with you; since I have been here, this is the best group of guys I have seen. Help each other, be patient with each other, speaking with a mild and gentle spirit. Pray for one another and forgive one another freely as God also by Christ freely forgave us. Ephesians 4:31-32.
Always try to be perfect, as our Heavenly Father is also perfect. This means, I think, totally completely, giving 100% doing and giving our very best to God and man.
And don’t forget service work guys. Do you want your reward from man, which will only last a while or do you want it from God, a reward that will last forever? Try doing service work or any good deed in secret and without complaining and God who loves a cheerful giver and who is looking on in secret will reward you. Matthew 6:1-4, 2 Corinthians 9:6-7
Thank you all again from the bottom of my heart. You all have been a blessing to me.
Love you,
Joel
