Sow into the Lord’s field

Isaiah House is a gift the Lord has given us, as an answer to a prayer, a longing in our hearts, which He put there. We invite you to join us in sowing into this field that belongs to the Lord.

 

 

Ways To Sow:

There are many, many ways you can help support Isaiah House and make a positive difference in the lives of our residents. We invite your to join us in sowing into the Lord’s garden.

Items We Need

Donations we would appreciate:

  • Coffee, Sugar, Creamer, Milk, Cheese, Bread
  • Paper products: paper plates, napkins, paper towels, toilet paper
  • Beverages (juice, soft drinks, etc)
  • Laundry detergent
  • Plastic containers that fit under a bed for men to store their personal items
  • Gift Cards: Gas card, Wal-Mart card, Lowes card
  • Twin size blankets, bed sheets and bed pillows
  • Sponsor a man: $200 per week
  • Monetary Donations

Volunteer

Volunteers are always welcome and needed.

There are many areas in which to serve:

  • Make a meal
  • Yard work
  • Building repair and upgrades
  • Help create and work in the garden
  • Provide transportation when occasionally needed
  • Fundraise
  • Be a friend to a resident
  • Pray for and with a resident
  • Donate your time, offering your expertise in an area that can benefit Isaiah House or the men:
    • Counseling
    • Accounting/CPA/Taxes
    • Legal Aid
    • Medical
    • Publicity
    • Job training
    • Hair Cuts

Resident Application Notes

Application Process

We provide men who have been through a drug and alcohol program, an opportunity to gain needed skills to better equip them with integrating back into society.

Candidates for admission to the Isaiah House Program must complete their application and have an interview with the Director. The program is open to males between ages 25 and 55, who have already completed a drug and alcohol program, are physically able to work, are medically able to fully participate.

Isaiah House exists to help men with life controlling issues, such as drug and alcohol addictions as well as other issues by providing a healthy, balanced, structured environment for the whole man, addressing spiritual, physical, emotional, financial and legal issues.

Prospective resident should have completed a substance abuse program within last 6 months and be willing to continue in a transitional house that supports sobriety.
