Ed’s new office!

Ed’s new office! We recently created a House Manager position to help with the day-to-day operations here at Isaiah House. And the house manager needed to have his own bedroom. Located along the main residential hallway, Ed’s former office was an ideal location. We decided that we needed a house manager bedroom and an office for Ed, more than we needed a guestroom. Chickens in the Garden

 Our garden is off to a great start, thanks to Debra Young for donating a trailer full of horse manure, and Isaiah House composting all year.Our soil is fantastic this year.  We have already enjoyed our first crop pickings of cucumbers, squash and zucchini. Tomaotes are about to turn red, if I can keep the chickens away from them.

2010 Garden off to a great start

My beautiful garden! We have planted a variety of tomatoes and peppers, bush beans, string beans and snap peas. We have okra, cucumbers, squash, zucchini, eggplant, watermelon and cantelope. Thank you everyone for all your prayers, love and assistance during Ed’s recovery from his motorcycle accident on March 18, 2010.  Hopefully physical rehabilitation will begin soon.
