I have recently completed a grant application with Fiskers for garden supplies. Part of the application required creating something that expressed how I felt about gardening without words. So, Ed and I spent an afternoon hanging antique colored bottles and broken mirrors in a tree that sits in the middle of the garden. We attached three rough boards that say: Welcome to Isaiah House Garden, Love Dwells Here, Come Partake.
It was a great day! I snapped a quick photo and posted the application at 4:50pm the day of the application deadline!
We also had a surprise visit by the Health Dept to inspect our kitchen. We were delighted to receive an A and a 100 score! ? Of course we expect nothing less. I keep a very tight run kitchen. The inspector said she wished everyone did as good a job as we did.
