This is a poem passed on to me by a relative of the 21 year old female who lost her life while addicted to crystal meth. This is a true happening. A 21 year old female was addicted to crystal meth, overdosed, and lost her life.
After her death, they were cleaning out her apartment and in her top dresser drawer, found a poem she had written.

1. Be their lawyer. Defend them to the end no matter what.
2. Be their banker. Give them what they want even if you can’t afford it. The child learns they never need to worry about money.
3. Be their insurance company. Anytime they screw up be there prepared to cushion the shock. Accept responsibility for what they do.
4. Be their agent. Don’t let them have to earn...

We are very excited to announce the upcoming opening of Isaiah House! Recently my husband, Ed, and I were introduced to a gentleman who desired to lease his newly acquired property to an entity that would serve the community in a positive manner. We believed the property would be an excellent location for a much needed men’s transitional housing and substance abuse recovery center.
